Hello! I'm Kathy Moffett McDonald and I started "Remember Their Smile" in 2020. My amazing mom, Susan Moffett, passed away in April 2020. Here is one of my favorite pictures of us together. After spending the last 30 years in marketing, sales, promotions, fundraising, events, and writing, I spent an extraordinary amount of time writing mom's obituary, creating her memorial website, postcard promotion, and video presentation. We then produced a Zoom Memorial Service during the Covid Pandemic - all in Yahtzee Theme - mom's favorite game.  And from there I started helping other friends and their friends with obituaries, videos, slide shows and producing Zoom memorial services. And then...an idea for this business and helping others was born.

I have 3 goals with Remember Their Smile:

1. Obituaries are an important part of honoring our loved ones. A well-crafted love letter that captures the essence of the departed takes time and skill. Let me help you make that happen.

2. Video memorials and services should never be boring or basic. We can and should "Remember their Smile" and whatever spark and bright heart they brought to this world. I want to create modern enjoyable memories that reflect the unique spirit of your loved one. Plus, Zoom Memorials are here to stay - either as a stand alone celebration or as part of a hybrid in-person event.

3. You may have hired someone to help you plan your Bat Mitzvah, Wedding, or other Celebratory Event. Memorial Services deserve the same deluxe touch!
